Stem Cells Australia invites applications for its targeted disease teams – stem cells call. This supports targeted disease teams in translating stem cell research towards a specific clinical need. Teams may develop a product from stem cell disease modelling, regenerative medicine or designer cells, and the product may be a diagnostic, therapeutic or a platform for screening and drug efficacy.
Funding & Duration
Two grants are available, each worth up to $637,500 for up to two years. Additional funding is provided for project management support. Teams are encouraged to identify sources of leveraged funding, whether cash or in-kind.
Eligibility
Team leaders must have an appointment at one of the partner organisations of Stem Cells Australia. Other participants may come from other organisations.
