US NIH National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research: Small Research Grants for Data Analysis and Statistical Methodology Applied to Genome-wide Data (R03)

This supports research that involves statistical analysis of existing genome-wide data relevant to human dental, oral, or craniofacial conditions or traits. Eligible projects include statistical analysis using data derived from NIDCR-funded studies or from other sources, such as genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphisms genotyping; DNA sequencing; and transcriptomic, metagenomic, epigenomic or gene expression data. Development of statistical methodology appropriate for analysing genome-wide data and experimental validation of new methods or statistical analyses may be proposed, but the focus of the project should be on statistical methods development or analysis. Clinical trials are not allowed.
