Pfizer (US): Global Medical Grants

Pfizer supports the global healthcare community’s independent initiatives to improve patient outcomes in areas of unmet medical need that are aligned with Pfizer’s medical and/or scientific strategies.

The following Request for Proposals (RFP) have been issue by the sponsor.

Rheumatology

Specific Area of Interest: supports research proposals with the primary objective to increase understanding of the effect of inhibition of the JAK–STAT pathway on specific clinical effects – looking at either efficacy and/or safety outcomes in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and spondyloarthritis (SpA), as well as the role of the JAK–STAT pathways in inflammation.

Atopic Dermatitis

Specific Area of Interest: supports research proposals with the primary objective to increase understanding of the effect of inhibition of the PDE4 pathway on specific clinical effects – looking at either efficacy and/or safety outcomes in AD, as well as the role of the PDE4 pathways in inflammation.

Ulcerative Colitis

Specific Area of Interest: supports research proposals with the primary objective to increase understanding of the effect of inhibition of the JAK–STAT pathway on specific clinical effects – looking at either efficacy and/or safety outcomes in UC, as well as the role of the JAK–STAT pathways in inflammation.
