Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) grants support medium to long term industry-led collaborations to solve industry problems and deliver tangible outcomes and the program aims to:
- Improve the competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of Australian industries, especially where Australia has a competitive strength, and in line with Government Priorities;
- Foster high quality research to solve industry-identified problems through industry-led and outcome-focused collaborative research partnerships between industry entities and research organisations; and
- Encourage and facilitate small and medium enterprise (SME) participation in collaborative research.
The scheme is now open for applications. There have been significant changes to the Grant Guidelines from past rounds.
All applications with proposed University of Adelaide involvement must submit an Expression of Interest to be considered through University endorsement processes ASAP. All CRC proposals require organisations to contribute significant cash/in-kind towards the proposal. The University of Adelaide will only endorse proposals which indicate appropriate returns to the University. Please read details on the Research Services website and direct any questions or queries regarding CRCs to email@example.com in the first instance.
Applications close with the Australian Government on: Monday, 1 July 2019.
