Gerard La Fontaine, Intellectual Property Manager with Adelaide University Enterprise is a patent attorney with 30 years’ experience in patent searching.

The session will cover:

  • Pros and cons of the patent databases available
  • Searching using indexing codes and key words/names
  • Searching patents by references cited

Bring your laptop and Gerard will give you tips and pointers in searching patents specific to your area of research.
