Public Forum: The PCOS Q&A (Wed 15 May)

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a misunderstood disorder. It is even misnamed as women with PCOS do not have cysts. It is linked to reproductive, metabolic and psychological dysfunction.

Researchers are making headway to understanding the causes and impacts of PCOS which affects about 10% of adolescents and women (with up to 70% of cases undiagnosed). Last year the Australian PCOS Centre for Research Excellence led the development and release of new international guidelines on the assessment and management of this disorder.

At this special event hosted by Healthy Development Adelaide and the Robinson Research Institute, you will have the chance to ask questions of PCOS experts and advocates.

Come along to this intimate public event where you can ask any question about PCOS, and learn more about treatments, latest research and care options.
