The South Australian Centre for Economic Studies will release its latest Economic  Briefing Report at the June 2013 Economic Briefing function to be held at the Crowne Plaza Adelaide (16 Hindmarsh Square), this Friday 28 June from 12:00 pm.

Our guest speaker for the luncheon is Jenny Gordon, Principal Adviser Research at the Productivity Commission.  Ms Gordon will address the topic of Understanding Productivity Growth.

The function includes a presentation on the situation and outlook for the South Australian economy presented by Steve Whetton, Deputy Director of the Centre. Colin Rogers, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Adelaide, will provide a short presentation on the topic of Budget Deficits, Government Debt and the Central Bank, which appears as a focus article in the latest Economic Briefing Report.
