It’s the end of semester 1, and you think you’ve met all your degree requirements. Now, you need to apply for conferral.
What is conferral?
Conferral is the legal acknowledgement that you have completed all of the requirements of your degree. It’s not graduation, but for more info about conferral take a look at our AskADEL articles.
What if I still don’t have my semester 1 grades?
If you’ve still yet to receive your grades for semseter 1, apply for conferral anyway. You will not be conferred if you have not applied, and eligibility will be assessed later on. So apply as soon as possible!
How do I apply?
- Log into Access Adelaide, click ‘Graduations’ and check that there is an active graduation application under the subheading ‘Graduation Applications’.
- If you cannot see an active application, click the green ‘Apply’ button and apply to graduate from the relevant degree.
- If your program is an active application, then you don’t need to do anything more for conferral. You will still need to eventually apply to graduate.
Finally, keep an eye on your emails for any more relevant information about graduations and conferral.
