“Gem of the Week”. Hand drawn documents of the Barr Smith Library, circa 1930.
One of the drawings is a combined Architectural plan, section , elevation and detail drawing. This is a wonderful example of Architectural documentation, as it works on the “less is more” principle of detailing. With this type of drawing the quality, knowledge and skills of the builders and craftspeople is utilised on the construction project.
Another great find from the UniSpace Team.
