The Inaugural ‘Meet the Maker’ USC Community Event is a Success

Meet the Maker – Patritti Wines

Winemakers: Ben Heidi and James Mungall

A USC Community Event

The inaugural University Senior College Old Scholars’ Association (USCOSA) ‘Meet the Maker’ event was held on Thursday 27th August 2015 at the family owned Patritti Wines located in Dover Gardens.

Thank you to Wine Makers, James Mungall and Ben Heidi, who both provided an educational experience by sharing their abundance of knowledge and their invaluable time.  Guests were  treated to an inside peek to their craft of not only their wine making capabilities but also a wealth of information and insight into the export business, especially the exporting of their non-alcoholic juices to China.

The personal tour and dedicated wine tasting was an educational experience that will be remembered for a long time – the first of many more to come.

The University Senior College Old Scholars’ Association (USCOSA) are creating events to bring together the USC Community, supporting local South Australian businesses whilst raising funds and awareness for the USC Scholarship Fund.
