Join the Art Gallery Teen Guides!

Do you love art? Curious about a career in the art industry? Like to know more and help others to do the same?

This school holidays, the Art Gallery of South Australia will be holding a training workshop for those aged 13-17 years who are interested in becoming a Teen Guide.

Facilitated by Kylie Neagle, the Teen Guides training workshop will introduce young art lovers to the basics of gallery guiding, where they will gain behind-the-scenes insight into works of art, learn professional techniques for talking about art and working with audiences, and make friendships to last a lifetime.

Teen Guides will then be invited to share their skills during the Gallery’s new program Neo, a free event for teens including activities led by artists, talks, music, dancing and refreshments.
