Earlier this month, University Senior College graduates attended the Science Innovation Learning Centre (SILC) at Flinders University with USC’s lead Chemistry teacher, Glen Arthur, where the Royal Australian Chemical Institute provided recognition through medals for those students who received a Merit in Chemistry in 2017. In addition to receiving medals, the students had the opportunity to listen to the journey of PhD researchers and hear from keynote speakers.
Of the 7 University Senior College students who received Chemistry Merits, 6 were able to attend the event (pictured above).
University Senior College was the most significantly represented school for merits in Chemistry on the evening. Congratulations to all students, we wish you every success for your future.
