Australian Youth Representative to the UN visits USC

Today marked the 88th consultation that Australian Youth Representative to the UN, Amos Washington, has made since commencing his role in March this year.  The Youth Representative is the only role of its kind in Australia. The Youth Rep tours the country, collecting the views of young Australians on issues that are important to them. In September, Amos, as Youth Rep travels to New York to represent Australian youth at the United Nations.

Interested University Senior College students joined Amos and his colleagues, Emma and Tilly, for a 45-minute lunch-time consultation. This involved interactive activities and group discussions where students shared their vision of their ideal Australia.
