USC Community Donate to South Pacific School Aid

On Tuesday 27 November, Di Averis, USC Economics Teacher, organised the donated contributions of books from the USC community for the South Pacific School Aid (SPSA).

We delivered over 30 boxes and saw some pallets already stacked and labelled ready for shipping to Tonga, Samoa, and Myanmar. Science and Maths books are in big demand in Myanmar. The organisation also sends to other countries, such as Fiji and the Philippines. This year 52 pallets of books (nearly 80,000 in total) have been sent. SPSA only respond to particular requests from schools.
