Stephanie sets her sights on being a doctor

Seoan (Stephanie) Park has finished in the top 1% of the state by achieving an ATAR of 99.85. Stephanie has already secured a position in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide. Stephanie was also offered a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering via the USC’s Partner’s Pathway with the University of Adelaide but has chosen to follow her dream of being a paediatrician.

In Year 12, Stephanie secured Merits in Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, and Biology in addition to achieving A grade results in Chemistry and Physics. To reach her goal, Stephanie emphasised the importance of time management whilst studying year 12.  Stephanie would revise lectures straight after her lessons, and would prepare for a test at least one week prior to the test, his assisted to reduce stress on the day and gave Stephanie a higher level of self-confidence enabling her to be consistent across all of her subjects.  At USC, Stephanie was awarded the 2018 academic subjects awards for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical Methods.

Stephanie chose to attend USC following her brother. After attending an Open Day, Stephanie felt the teachers were passionate about their teaching and it confirmed her decision to learn in a university style and adult learning environment.
