Meet the Bloggers: Hey, I’m Hiromi!

Hi, team! I’m Hiromi, and I’m one of the new bloggers on What Messes with your Head?!

I have just started a Bachelor of Laws and Arts here at Adelaide. I’m two weeks in and have already changed majors (Creative Writing to Psychology). Call it academic curiosity, but if that’s not an indication of just how indecisive I am, I don’t know what is. Be sure to stick around for my inevitable quarter-life crises over whether I have chosen the right career paths!

I love autumn, yoga, writing poetry, and convincing everyone I meet to watch my favourite movie, Call Me by Your Name. When I’m not hidden behind a stack of law textbooks in the library, you can find me wandering the isles of second-hand book stores, spending WAY too much time baking, or escaping the endless onslaught of uni assignments by browsing SkyScanner and planning trips to Italy, Greece, Switzerland. I LOVE to travel. I embarked on a gap year in 2017, during which I went to America to work as a summer camp counsellor.

Stay tuned for posts about my adventures scouting for the best coffee in Adelaide, managing mental health amidst the stresses of uni, how to be productive when all you want to do is watch another true crime documentary on Netflix, and maybe even a few monthly horoscopes. I can’t wait to get started!

That’s all for now,

xoxo Gossip Girl
