CPD Seminar: An outdated charter for greed and entitlement? Reforming The Inheritance (Family Provision) Act 1972

The South Australian Law Reform Institute at Adelaide Law School, is examining the Inheritance (Family Provision) Act 1972, as part of its wider succession reference from the Government. This presentation discusses the reform work and in particular the development of family provision law, and the concerns expressed over its current role and operation. Has the law fallen behind the times and undermined testamentary freedom, becoming an outdated charter for greed and entitlement?
