In June, the ECIC hosted the Systems of Systems Engineering Conference in Glenelg, organised by Professor Vernon Ireland. The conference was attended by over 100 delegates from 15 different countries with 58 papers submitted to IEEE journals for publication. Eight keynote speakers led the development of new ideas, including four international speakers. Many delegates enjoyed visits to the vineyards near Adelaide, and a visit to the $8 billion Air warfare Destroyer under construction.
