Thanks to everyone who made the Next Steps event ‘A foot in the door of the criminal law’ such a success. Our panellists Mim Sarre, Joel Lisk, Sean Nottle, Mason Beck, Ben D’Andrea, Ellie Nolan, Airlie Waterman and Anne O’Sullivan shared great tips on getting started in criminal law through placements, jobs and internships at the DPP, in the courts, with the South Australian Police, and in chambers and offices with criminal defence lawyers. Current students were genuinely inspired by the insights into the challenges and rewards of criminal practice.
