The ECIC’s Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Introduction to Project Management has made it to the finalist round in the 2017 edX Prize for Exceptional Contributions in Online Teaching and Learning!

All submissions were reviewed by an evaluation committee made up of faculty, instructional designers, college deans, and online learning directors from edX partner institutions. Next, the edX University Advisory Board will evaluate the 10 finalists and select a winner. The winner of the edX Prize will be announced at the 2017 Global Forum to be hosted by the University of British Columbia this December, and receive a $5000 award.

In 2016 alone, Introduction to Project Management attracted 150 000 enrolments in over 200 countries. Our MOOCs make education accessible to a wide ranging demographic, allowing us to have an impact on more distant communities. Eligible MOOC participants who successfully complete an additional component can gain one course credit towards a University of Adelaide online Graduate Certificate.
