Tuesday the 6th of February is Safer Internet Day! Safer Internet Day is an annual, worldwide event to help encourage a better internet, celebrated across the world in 130 countries. The event is coordinated by the joint Insafe/INHOPE network, with the support of the European Commission, and national Safer Internet Centres across Europe.

This year’s theme is ‘Create, connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you’. As this is also a key topic from the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies, we explore key content and classroom activity ideas for communicating, collaborating and behaving online safely within our F-6 Foundations MOOC, within our ‘Information Systems’ unit.
