The Master of Agribusiness (MAB) program offered by the Centre for Global Food and Resources (GFAR) provides students the opportunity to develop the conceptual and practical skills necessary for agribusiness leadership, management decision making, policy analyses and problem solving in a complex global agrifood market place.
We are excited to welcome another Industry Leaders Fund scholarship awardee into our MAB program in Trimester 1 of 2019, after Danny Le Feuvre of Australian Bee Services who is currently pursuing the program. At the recently held awards ceremony, Nektarios Nicolaou, Group Engineering Projects Manager at Thomas Foods International was awarded a scholarship of $9000 to support his professional development through the Master of Agribusiness program at GFAR. Nekta received this award from Minster for Trade, Tourism and Investment Senator the Hon Simon Birmingham. Nekta is a highly skilled engineer who holds a responsible position with one of South Australia’s largest employers. The MAB program will complement his technical skills and enhance his leadership skills.
The Industry Leaders Fund Incorporated offers grants to help those with industry leadership from across diverse sectors with potential and aspirations to achieve their aims sooner than would otherwise be possible. Successful recipients receive up to $50000 to develop their leadership skills, experience and knowledge through education, and/or training at best practice workplaces.
We look forward to welcoming Nekta to the MAB program and wish him all the best with his studies.
