Prof. Chunhua Shen – ARC Future Fellow

ARC Future Fellow and Professor at School of Computer Science, University of Adelaide; also a member of the Australian Centre for Visual Technologies (ACVT). His research and teaching focus on Statistical Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

Before moving back to Adelaide in 2011, Dr Shen was with the computer vision group at NICTA (formerly National ICT Australia) Canberra Research Laboratory. He held an adjunct position at College of Engineering & Computer Science, Australian National University (ANU) from 2006 to 2011.

Dr Chunhua Shen, previously of the NICTA Bionic Vision Project, has accepted a position in the School of Computer Science and the ACVT. Dr Shen is a leading Computer Vision expert and particularly strengthens ACVT expertise in Machine Learning.
